Capita Learning announces new market leader proposition at CIPD L&D Show

Capita Learning has  unveiled its newly restructured organisation, which it is confident will make it the UK’s market leading L&D provider, to be presented to the market at the 2017 CIPD Learning and Development Show.

The new-look Capita Learning will group a number  of Capita  specialist companies, bringing together the expertise and experience of each to create a learning service provider that leads the way in delivering demonstrable performance improvement in L&D.

Capita Learning brings together Capita Apprenticeships, the UK’s number one apprenticeship provider; Knowledgepool, Europe’s biggest managed learning services provider; e-learning specialist Brightwave; performance improvement brand Blue Sky; simulations experts G2G3; and specialist training provider the Fire Service College.

Each will retain its individual brand, recognised as leaders in their respective markets. An integrated approach to learning and development solutions will enable Capita to outpace the competition, driving significant new investment.

The full range of capabilities mean that Capita Learning improves organisational performance, bringing with it the parent company’s ethos of measurable success and return on investment – which the L&D community has always found to be a challenge.  Simply put, Capita Learning will deliver measurable ROI in learning and development. This is achieved through transformational programmes that deliver strong behaviour and performance change. Furthermore, it is complemented by delivering learning business process outsourcing (LBPO) to significantly reduce costs, through improved efficiency in the management and administration of learning.

For example, Capita Apprenticeships is achieving success levels up to 90%  success rate having already delivered 12,000 apprenticeships. Blue Sky’s expertise in changing behaviour results in an average return on investment for clients of around 300%. Knowledgepool manages the entire learning process for large and complex employers, cutting L&D costs by up to 40%, and Brightwave designs cross-platform, customised learning content, using an award-winning collaborative platform to allow trackable learning.

Senior leaders from Capita Learning will be attending the L&D show to launch the new-look business.

Dan Ferrandino, director at Capita Learning, commented: “More than ever, organisations need full-service learning and development provision – this joined-up strategy allows us to combine the capability and understanding of our already successful companies. We continue to look for ways to expand and improve our market-leading services for our clients.

“This strategic positioning comes at a pivotal time for learning and development in the UK, as macro issues such as the Apprenticeship reforms and Brexit negotiations push skills issues to the top of the national agenda.”
